C63 Just for the noise alone

      M5 Always wanted one

GT3 would be nice but I would hate to drive it to work on shithouse roads.

If resale values is an issue, they guy that bought that red GT3 paid $160k for it 2 years and 20 000km ago !
        Price reduced $10k to $157k

C63 then take to your MB dealer and have the ECU upgraded to E63 378kw

However GTR is by far the best of the lot listed

If I had to buy a car...it would be the merc in a heartbeat.

Otherwise, A new bike delivered in Europe & spend the rest riding it home over 12 months.

That would destroy owning a shiny new car.

It opens up a world of options but the main four to choose from are as follows.

                  Mercedes C63 AMG - 139k

Now at that price range you also have a decent list of 2nd hand cars

                  There are

                  2005 M5

                  http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars...=0&sort_type=2

So what would you buy and why or would you look at something else?

I'd kinda like to own the Merc or the Porga next.......probably because I've owned quite a few fast Bimma's, a couple of fast Nissans...but would drive them all to see which put the biggest smile on your face when you drove it!

Gotta be the C63, they really handed Audi and BMW a bitchslap with their pricing. Until a new RS4 comes out perhaps ... needs more twin turbo V8 goodness.

The reduced power output of the C63 is not just a result of tuning. Not that I'm doubting you could get 378kw out of it, just clarifying that point.

2003 GT3 for sure. Dream car material for me there

Of course I'd have to test drive both the GT3 and GTR for comparison before laying down that kind of cash, but as said earlier, the GT3 will hold its value a lot better, and I'd also point out that with the 2008 model year GTR's being available for SEVS, it'll hit the resale of the GTR a bit harder than it would of otherwise, but it'll take a few years before you feel the hit, just like the RX7.
