that'll be what those little turbos are for , initial punch to get everything moving , then those big fucks take over and the skiers arms are no longer in their sockets.

Why the horrible bend in the inlet runners? Surely that could have been a lot closer to vertical in the top section and give better flow properties? The way it is, the flow will crowd the outside of the bend and land in the bottom of the port.Originally posted by bugleThe non GTS's were gay

It has a 2 speed transmission...yes.
The key is to make the power seamless...it has to be a constant force for accelerating out of the hole or even out of tighter corners. A sudden hit from monster turbos just pulls the skiers over the front.
If my photos werent alarmingly pox you might notice that the big turbos also have a bleed off to the small ones to ensure they are working constantly...just to keep it smooth.
GTSBoy, youre making monster assumptions on all sorts of things that you cant see. Literally hundreads of hours on an engine dyno after all the modelling have pretty much decided that this design works best.
Oh, Its Simons own boat, its a 21foot Force with that big leg out the back. The aim is to wina ski race & then drag his 5 & 6 year old kids around on knee boards etc afterwards at 20mph...just to prove how user friendly it is.
Its still getting mufflers & water cooled manifolds so these skiers might not end up showered in fuel/smoke/crap like most of the others

are there really enough plumbers/landscapers/trucking magnates and drug barons in the australian ski boat scene with enough resources to throw down 200 large for a boat motor?
p.s. simon is a nissan god/guru, not shitcanning him and i love that motor, but geeze at half a house, is there a market for these things?1998 NB MX5
