Yeah the original test was to keep the grunt down to around 600hp or so, and have a fat torque curve. We wandered a tad.
Yeah I can get the valves in no probs.

We gonna call it pretty much even?

I'll concede that the 4V does have a slight advantage in power delivery, you'd better concede that mine can be built with existing parts at a reasonable cost & will be more compact.

Hmmmm I'm thinking we should perhaps be using the same program to make sure we're on the same page.
            What are you using?

              Seems fair.

I don't know why the big engines don't get as much benefit from a 4V head as the small ones do though - if anything, it should be the other way around.

                Engine analyser pro.

I figure you're using the same.

Yeah, it would seem that should be the case, but in real life it simply isn't so.

                  I ain't gonna try to match a 4V 1600cc 4-banger with a 2V tho, I'd get smashed.

We should swap files ... ?

Yep, here's the next road engine I'm building.

A mate in Europe has actually built almsot exactly the same engine and it makes 248hp at the crank.

Yeah, ok, but I gotta figure out how the hell to find the file in order to send the damn thing.

Outta time, I'm 1/2 way to being screwed for the day now, gotta go finish machining a 350 chev & start popping a 4L for back together.

Ah, crap, why am I so easily distracted?

Cool, I'll find it - but I'll send a new one.

Just switched to an 8 deg style chamber:

                              772hp @ 6500
                              648ft/lbs @ 5500

                              I'll send you that one.

Ok, got the file, but can't do an attatchement using PF's email function, send me something & I'll shoot it over.
