Exactly the conditions I find fog lights most annoying. The glare from their reflection off a wet road is annoying. Thankfully my 100W low beams and 130/150 W high beams > fog lights.Proudly presenting the new foot long chocolate Subway.

All depends on what car your drive. 4wds are less likely to be affected but every fucktard in a subaru or ss bombadore and sadly plenty of XR drivers all think motor mag is taking their fucking picture. If someone can't see your low beams - blinding the fuckers with the fog lights probably isn't going to improve it - they are already BLIND!!!Originally posted by gat5rodeo View Postx2
i cant recall ever being dazzled/blinded/raped by a pair of fog lights on a commodore or another other car. the front ones never bother me, the rear ones are a bit annoying, but they're not that much brighter than the brakelights anyway.
poorly aimed headlights, or HID's shining my direction are much more of a cunt than some dodgy little lights on a front bumperA slow day at the track is better than any day in the office.

Wait, I just saw this was for VIC. You mean to tell me the state where your numberplates should say "VICTORIA - THE POLICE STATE" were this late on the bandwagon for implementing this law?Originally posted by MarvShe most likely doesn't bathe, thinks basket-weaving should be in the Olympics and has a vagina that looks like Dumbledore's beard.

Whenever I see a customers car at work with the foglights on I make sure to turn them off and leave them off..Originally posted by Sicarius123 View PostThey definately never get the hint, because they don't even realise they're doing it. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who never even turned it on, it's been on since they bought the car.Originally posted by ALLMTRYes but more power is the solution, even if lack of power isn't the problem...

What about cock sucker motorbike drivers who drive around their R6's with high beams on, or any bike for that matter.

QFTMFT... you cannot imagine how hard I had to bite my tongue when we were picking up the MX5 and the dealer was telling my mrs how to turn on the 'driving lights'.....Originally posted by Sicarius123 View PostThey definately never get the hint, because they don't even realise they're doing it. Yeah, because this is about an ACTUAL road safety initiative, rather than a knee jerk, rip off more money political stunt.Originally posted by Sicarius123 View PostWait, I just saw this was for VIC. +1.Originally posted by psssi98 View PostI think some of you cunts need a new hobby! Fuck me!
How long before you all call for a law to ban Frangipani stickers on hatch backs cos they piss you off?
Seriously 99.9% of extra lights people drive around with on do fuck all in terms of glare, brightness etc so I am struggling with the "won't someone think of the children " attitude towards.
For the record yes my car has foggies/driving lights whatever you call them. No I don't turn them on for "the look" but will turn them on in low arvo light, rain etc as I figure the retards I share the roads with need as much help as they can get! (although I did get busted in CBD one day by 2 PF'ers with them inadvertently on as I did not realise I had flicked the swicth - oh the shame!)
Fuck some of you cunts must have sensitive eyes. You can bomb the world to pieces but you can't bomb it into peace.

The lights them selves aren't the problem. It's the fact that 99% of them aren't bloody aimed correctly. Dealers are supposed to check the aim during PD and during a service. I know that most don't. I can't say all don't because I did and I know Mercedes would check to ensure it was done. Iirc it is/was part of rego inspections. I've had fog lights and driving lights on the last 6 cars and have only ever had 1 issue with them, didn't drop to lowbeam fast enough on a country road when a cop came around a corner. Nearly 700w of light, correctly aimed, will do that.
