Why do people modify slow cars when there are faster cars in the same range to begin with? I've never understood this. If you want a really fast car, start with one that was at least reasonably fast to begin with...
And, because someone with some brains can build something for less or similar money that is faster, stops better, turns better, and is different.
Not in this case though...its a shitbox old 6cyl commodore & its white. Im unsure how it could be more sheep like.
Marco, the answer to your question is because some people are fucking idiots.
Only because youve taken it at its most base value. Look a little deeper, and its certainly different to your typical moooooooo spec V6 with a Lukey exhaust.

So its a sheep with bigger dags...whoopdee fucking doo.

Applying a little more brainpower to the problem would have led to the conclusion that, for only a little more money, the owner of this fine turbocharged fleetmobile could have started with a Commodore SS or similar as a base car and achieved even better results.
Individuality is good, but I always question those who do something the hard way just because it's different. Different <> better.
I won't even start on the idea of using the old pushrod V6 as a basis for a performance project...
Really, I've heard plenty of V8's, plenty sound Horn, and none of them have been Holden. How do they manage to sound so shitty and sloppy?
I've heard plenty of V8s and am yet to find one I didn't like the sound of. Every car with a six that I've been in has always had that "Falcon taxi" quality to their exhaust note. (Not that I've ridden in that many good sixes, but I thought it would be good to join in with the sweeping generalisations).
I don't know, but I'm saying you could build a much faster one for the same money that this guy spent on his V6. My point is about the futility of the project, not the value for money now that it's for sale.
