            I don't mind either of them, but sadly I read a recent interview with BMW AG CEO who said that a "supercar" / M1 was not currently on the agenda for the forseeable future.

            One telling quote from that interview went something along the lines of: "at the moment, while the R8 is doing such a good job, it's not economical for us to attempt to challenge this segment" (i'm paraphrasing)

            The interview was on Autoblog.com last week.

                Whilst growing up during the 80s, the orange M1 looks exactly the sort of car I'd have wanted/expected in the future. If only it had a talking dashboard as well.

                          was reading the BMW mag - there's an article of the old cars and what they are fetching these days

                          e.g: 3.0 CSL ~ 500,000 euros

                          and the M1 150,000 euros - and 635kw !!!! WWWWTTTTFFFFF????
