I was out at haltech today. The boys gave me a look at the GTR and I was lucky enough to have a sit in it. It's frickin horn. They will be out next wednesday night at WSID. It's definitly got semis on it. It's great looking in the flesh, the pics don't do it justice.
A slow day at the track is better than any day in the office.

Horizontal leafs....Not the same as you're thinking of.
That 11.2 is due to the driver and the track, both of which made a big difference. Anyone knows the MPH is where its really at in 1/4mile times, the 125-127mph has been proven time and time again in the Z06.
ALso I dont hear any synco knash in the video I posted and he's shifting alot quicker than the Autocar one. I reckon that z06 has done the rounds of the Euro and UK mags for a while.

So the exception now makes the ruleOriginally posted by Captain Slow View Postobviously only works on a drag strip sturmoik cos its fucking shithouse in real world conditions.
In all the reviews ive read and seen its the first to mention a problem with the 2nd gear syncro. So either the driver doesnt know how to drive, the car has been abused like a rental.
