I guess its a bit of a money thing here? do S2000s have as much of a price premium over say, an MX5 in Japan compared to here?

i believe development (ie. parts and costs of things that break) costs are significantly higher for a balls out S2000 than an MX5, and higher market value has limited accessability for those that want to gut and race them.
