Hopefully it will get better and survives, they just need that chemistry that TGUK seems to have.

I was a little weirded out be the cloning of the studio. Would have been cool to see them shoot it in a more Aussie bar type scenario. Maybe BBC set that in the guidelines?

Would be nice to actually see a schematic of the track too, whats the betting that at some time the star in the satria smashes into those chicane barriers?:D There is nothing on the UK top gear track for the stars to hit, and wisely so.

Where was the review on the soft roaders....what was the point? What was the conclusion? what were the pros/cons of each??

Wtf is with the shitty footage from the track? Apart from the fact they gave no idea of the layout, its hard to tell where the car was going and where it was meant to be going. The camera should have been looking down a little, from a cherry picker or something.

The little dude was a bit annoying to start with. Not so bad in the features but in the studio he grated a little.

The studio, the credits, the music...they were just far too copied, but fair enough for the pilot I spose.


Dont get me wrong, theres a lot of good entertainment there, but they sorta missed the mark on the fundamentals. They've got the entertainment value of Top Gear, but not the Factual or educative Information of top gear.

i thought it was alright and i'll definitely tune in next week. I particularly like the fact that they have their own little segment "what were they thinking?"... Makes me wonder whey they do the stupid "Some say... " segment about the Stig then, considering it's even losing its amusement in TGUK.

Also, as my housemate suggested, it would have been funnier to have the stig dressed up in thongs, a bluey, some boardies and the stig helmet, rather than a copy stig. Just make it a bit different and appeal to an australian audience. I think in time, they'll adapt their pace and the hosts will get friendlier with each other (I want to see more stupid comic plans drawn). Whether or not they'll be given any cars for a second season is an entirely different question.

The Stig looks like he couldn't drive his way out of a wet paper bag. He's also a short fat git with no neck it appears.

Hosts = cunts, all of them. Stick to radio, drawing cartoons, and being a wannabe racer but is in fact a fuckall nobody. Nothing to like about them at all. Brown looks like he should be in Long Bay gaol with that pedo mustache.

The fact is, Hammond, May and Clarkson have personality. The aussie guys, well, you'd find more personality in the 'gina of a crackwhore after a weeklong gangbang.

A few of you are forgetting that this is supposed to be like Top Gear UK, hence the same name. Of course a lot of aspects are going to be similar or the same - they're working to a formula.

I didn't think it was too bad, but they did seem to try and fit too much in and i'm not convinced of Charlie Cox's worth as a presenter. Otherwise it was ok.
