I agree that they don't really "review" anything, also I kinda of half watch AU top gear, I put it on, look over when its interesting, but spend most of the time on the laptop really. When Topgear UK was on I'd watch it start to finish.

Seems to me they tried so hard to get people who could try and replicate the personalities and roles of the topgearUK presenters, they didn't get anyone who could actually review a car at all!

On the other hand it could all be the producers fault stopping them from reviewing cars properly or even cutting it from final production because they don't think it will rate as well.

I thought it was supposed to be more about entertainment than anything else, and it is entertaining for the wider community. I have not heard any non car people complaining about it. I see it succeeding, and I find it very much worth watching.

It's just the way they come across. When the TGUK guys go on their destructive sessions, it's entertaining. When the TGAU guys do it, they come across as people who are happy to smash other people's property, and just don't give a shit.

Not 100% sure why, it might mess with the tuning ability of the radio with the shorter antenna. You are better off having someone bitch about the antenna at 250km/h rather then having shit radio reception. There is a fix but I am not 100% sure what it is.

Auto up/down? Why even have an externally visible antenna at all? Most Euro's haven't had one since the late 90's.

I thought the review was shallow and pointless. Why bother reviewing a car if you're not going to give the viewer any information?

It almost feels like there is no feedback about the viewer's perspective wrt this show.

I missed most of the show, and I'm glad I didn't waste my time.
