Any chance of getting them to review another holden.... this time with faulty door locks and faulty exhaust?Originally posted by kabab View PostI actually watched the w427 review with the HSV styling/design guys, no one was impressed at how they reviewed the car.
I reckon everybody would chuck a party at these guys becoming stiffs.Originally posted by Crash DummyI had reason to believe that the photo could have been of a very well done tranny. I have been fooled in the past

Holy shit, that was nearly a decent episode. They reviewed TWO CARS!
Still needs more staunch opinion.Originally posted by klampykixxas an example, an elephant pushes over a tree to eat the fresh leaves at the top, but a human isnt allowed to build a machine that makes a car so he can drive around to places quicker?

I was watching some of the first series of the 'new' Top Gear on the weekend and some of it was pretty woeful and quite nerdy. It's not even clear that Clarkson knew at that stage that it would turn into the style it is now. At one stage they had Grandmas doing donuts in an S2000 and Ford designers doing interviews, boring stars in a car on which some of the laps had no commentary. The 'insider trader' was interesting but not particularly entertaining - all the kind of stuff that would have you blokes vomiting all over your keyboards. Even then the 'reviews' of the cars were not that thorough and more based upon entertainment and comedy value.
Took 6-7 episodes to get the humour and the style defined. Rest is history, and a hard act to follow!

Deutsche Bahn Rail: Trains are a great way to get lots of people concentrated into a small area, like a camp.
ACA/TT: Where's the line between a car enthusiast and hoon? There is none
