Is there much difference between the EJ20 in the RS Lib, and the one in the WRX?? I've always wanted to know what the exact differences were?

Not too much difference really except I think the libs had closed deck ej20's and the heads were different design... that and the water/air intercooler...

I found out the rattling noise coming from under my car... got the shits lastnight and decided I'd try and find it... as irony has it.. my stereo is broken.. as I was using it to drown out this damn rattling sound... so with stereo broken I couldn't drown it out any longer...

Jacked the bitch up got under did the jiggle test on everything.. finally found this washer like thing on the tailshaft... that is supposed to press firmly against the center uni pivot point... and it's looser than a ..... so electrical tape to the rescue... I put the car out of gear and spun the tailshaft whilst spooling the electrical tape on... it doesn't make a sound anymore

No shit man.. this was by far the most fking annoying sound I've ever heard... it sounded like fkin jingle bells.. or when you're towing a trailler ... and the chain dangles down and continuously hits the road... now I gotta get these brakes and replace my fuked fronts that squeal... and then save for a while and do EMS/Front Mount/Vf**

My pod filter and afm assembly are zip tied onto the original air filter box bracket... using 3 zip ties in series

It's just some washer typed thing on the tailshaft... looking at it.. it had no real purpose...

I have a spare tailshaft in the garage to go in this weekend... as my uni is fked...
