thats only the top brackets, the bottom was easy i just used about 1/4 thick steel plate to make up 2 brackets that bolt between the caster rod bracket and chassis and the cooler sits perfectly on top of those.

i used subwoofer cables on the in/out endtanks for 2 years on my n12 exa years and years ago. Was pretty thick cable so wasn't dodgy at all...

          Thanks all.

TK and Andymac: Thats pretty much what I had in mind. Will look the same as TK's but with flatbar instead of the RHS. Already got some holes I used to mount the front radiator fans off.

It sits ontop of the lower part of radiator support, i cut little holes for the two know bolt things to sit in, on top its just bolted through the top.

Yeah, mine is pretty much massive overkill, you could hang a bloody gearbox off of it - I just used what fell to hand, which happened to be RHS & square tube.
The bottom mounts are about 5mm thick rhs steel!

Just keep pushing the cooler back until there is something above it, drill holes and done :p

p.s Just noticed a post by TK thats similar to yours isnt it?? if so couldnt you just hang a bracket off the underside of the bonnet catch to pick up on the plate on the top of your cooler??

The top plate sits along way forward. I was supposed to cut the outlets off today and jam it in to see what its close to, but fuckers who say shit will be ready to be picked up on Monday, then when you rock up on Friday and they forgot about it really piss me off and waste my time.

Tomorrow arvo is the new plan.
