      why would you make one? i brought the one for our race car for $3200 ready to roll with 12 months rego....

      hide away ramps with a doves tail so low cars are easy...

          i have taken heaps of propper photo's but they are on the other PC.

          and by university i mean university Muz. BT/BA - technology. it's my major work (3rd Year)

              ok. i'll have to go on the other computer and do it.

              spent all night finishing the wiring and the brakes.

              it all works took it for a test run and it's tows great.

              booked in for rego tomorrow morning at 8.

                if you mount a winch, put it offset of the centreline as you don't get tow hooks in the centre of front bumper bars.

                If you use chains and turnbuckles to hold the car onto the trailer, weld some mount points for them

                  Gaz914 came up last night and helped with the electrics and also getting the electric brake controller working.

                  more photo's













                  had it weighed this morning. 480kg with ramps. Passed rego first go.

                  later on i'll post up all the propper pics.

                        looks good but 1 thing that seems odd is the wheels seem too far forward , is this to design rules or a design fault ?

                          design.

                          the car is not prefectly balanced. the car is a corona. it sits on the deck in the right spot. i can still fold the ramps up and open the tool box.

                          i can't get to the RTA till friday so i'll have to wait till then to put the plates on. But yeah it feels pretty good to build something from an idea, see it take shape, and hopefully have it painted on friday.

                                Paint it white! And don't forget the reflective tape along the sides and rear. I know a few guys who've walked into their car trailers at night or have had them hit when parked.
