VE Safari: No, not quite sure what we could've done to get it back into place, it was stretched and bent pretty badly anyway. Wasn't the first thing that came to mind with some other crap that had happened that day, including having to call an ambulance for my little brother who has a heart condition.

And once the car was free, they had to find a way out and drove a fair way down to find an exit. A cop came to check out the car once we got it back to my mate's house, we told him what happened and what we did to get it out.

lobster: No, that's just a pen...although after looking at the pic again it does look rather like a needle.

Not sure what's going to happen with it now...it's still driveable, just has a bit more of a breeze going through with the windows out. Possibly go to a wreckers' and see how much a windscreen would cost.
