Normally its the sounding like you need their approval that tips them off, a sharp "Im considering purchasing a car not interviewing for your job" gets them to back off

lol, I went in for some competition at BMW on their website, to enter you had to order the catalogues on a new car.

Easy done, cept they kept ringing me trying to sell me a 5 series or m3 haha.

problem is theres usualy only one merc/bmw/porchse dealer in town

go in there and make a dick of yourself and sure youl get a drive once, but 2 years later when you actually got the money no cunts going to take you seriously

lol Simon - voice of experience? j/k

yeah - it is hard to be taken seriously at some places though... I got some pretty rude treatment a few years ago (when I had more disposable income than now) and it was their loss...

Yeah but porcshe drivers are gay, and no world leader is gay. Q should be shot.

Heh, there was a story in the paper a few years back where a guy who had just won the lottery got booted out of the Brisbane Porsche dealership because he was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and shorts. He ended up buying down the coast.

I have always found less snobbery at prestige dealers. Before I bought me E46 M3 i was pretty keen a new GTS. The Holden/HSV dealer was pissy at me of opening the door on it. After about 2 mins of this tosser telling me how financially draining repayments would be for someone like myself, i thought it was time to leave. Funnily enough, the guys at Motorline BMW were awesome. They gave the keys after just taking my license details andsent me on my way.
