Hey chuck, yeah the RA28 will be for sale, as is the soarer. Faced facts and realised I wouldn't be working on the RA28 all that much, and it'd never have aircon

Cheers for the tips guys, I'll write down your race calls Edo.

I'll be up for it later in the year too, only one wednesday left anyway. Colt vs polo battle.

Colt is already sounds like a HQ ute after mt. nebo/glorious on the weekend so i don't wanna know what qr would do to it.

            Matt,

The Saturday sprints arn't too bad. I went to my first one recently and will be going back this weekend. And despite having one of the slowest cars on the track you can still have alot of fun. They put all the new guys together in one group, I tend to take it slow first lap to get a good feel of the track then progressively add some right foot each lap.
I decided 40mins beforehand that i'd race, licence was $50 and $129 (i think) for the day, even that wasnt too bad value imo.

Just be sure to check fluids (i didn't :p) pump up the tyres, all the basic stuff, and take your time on the track.

on semis, in my starlet, i run 25psi cold front, 23-24psi cold rear, i also run 1psi less on the front left than the front right.

i aim for 30 psi hot, but the rear doesnt get heat into it enough, so it usually ends up about 27psi hot rear.

what tyres? im using silverstone semis. im guessing you have toyo r888's? if so maybe go for about 31psi hot (prob around same cold pressures as mine)

Pfft, no semi's for me yet. I'll race with what i have for now and then look at getting something. Being my first track day i think i need to learn how to drive the car first, plus i've only owned it two weeks. Fronts i have "Diamonback" brand, and rears are a mismatch at the moment. All have pretty much 90% tread left. Oh and they are 195/50/15's.
