I've got a New TomTom one and it's great. Sometimes takes you stupid ways (ie major roads) as opposed to the "right" way (you know those roads that everyone takes cause its always quicker). Also gets confused in some spots around brisbane as it doesn't know new roads.

I've got this one, RRP $299, I've seen them as cheap as $270 - http://www.tomtom.com/products/produ...tegory=0&Lid=8

Just bought a NavMan S35. $300 from Myer.

Does its job really well... voice commands, favourites..... I was pretty impressed with how quick it recalculated the route once you took a different turn off then the one suggested.

Had options for bias over freeways or suburb streets, features to show police stations, petrol stations, food locations, etc, etc, etc....

Navman are coming out with a new range - s35 is the entry level

Mio have the same menu system as navman. Ive sold a few at work and none have come back, the customers are regulars so i see them every week or 2 and they cant stop raving about them
