Fair enough too. After all... any one else remember what they did to the Calais turbo cop special they killed... sideways, halfway up a concrete bus shelter? On Belconnen Way? (I think it was) Then had the hide to claim a mechanical failure despite not being in pursuit and having that same car already been through at least 2 other state police forces for testing beforehand!

So the coppers hands were too sticky from the donuts to steer properly?

The Lancers, 380s, other unexpected cars are very rarely used for regular general duties purposes. If they're marked, they're likely a CMU/SLO car.

You sure it was a Calais? I remember the red VL turbo that just had the light on the roof, that seemed to go a hell of a lot harder then it should have. Bit like the SRS XR6-T really

Here the Magna and 380s were general duty cars, I think the Lancer might be as well. The senior officers seem to be using a couple of Pajeros at the moment.

The first one really was a police car! Ex Vic-pol highway patrol iirc. The rest were just what ever shitbox they got that was still, sort of, running. Apparently the night crash scene was an actual crash that the film crew came across/heard about.

EuroB: apparently Holden did a VL special, might have been an 8 not a 6... was a while back. It had been through other state forces and the federales killed it, conclusively. I didn't see or fiddle with it,... I knew people who were working at a dealership who was supporting it.

I believe the local coppers also killed the Cordia turbo they had stickered up for them.
