I wonder how much better off you'd be hitting a wodern pole? Do they usually snap? I guess the bigger diameter might also decress the stress vs. the small area of the side of a stobie? Probably no chance of them ever changing, given I doubt it's sudenly going to start raining in SA (unlike here, in Brissy, crazy!).
Given that SA has some of the best driving roads in the country, barely out of the city, why would you fang a Ferrari in North Adelaide.
