I have mainly Craftsman sockets and spanners...a mate picked up a lot of them in the US for me years ago. Bang for buck is hard to beat.

I snapped a breaker bar trying to get a 36mm VW hub nut off ...took it back in to a Walmart in LA two years later and the guy swapped it for a new one, no questions asked.

they have a "dock" area for the pallets. Some stores get 3 pallets a week some get 14 and other get shitloads.

most of what is found out the back is ryco filters that don't fit on the shelf (z9's anyone)

mby brother bought a spanner set to replace the tyre on his bike, and the spanner broke (so he says, i don't know where exactly..)

The golden rule for spanners (or screwdrivers, allen keys, nearly anything for that matter) is that they must be made from chrome vanadium steel. This is the minimum standard and anything else will likely break or be too springy. The only exception I make is big spanners (say 1-1/2" and up) where cheap carbon steel spanners will survive even with a cheater bar on them. And besides I usually end up cutting my big spanners in half anyway and wouldn't like to do that on spanners costing 200 -300 bucks a pop.

You are forgetting something though. Forged alloy is the new hotness. Lighter, stronger, thinner walled. CRV at a minimum for sure, but it doesnt have to be.

So how do people view Blue point. Better then Kincrome/ Sidchrome/KC tools type of gear, or worse ?

Oh, and how does the Snap on Replacment warranty work ? I have a few snap on pieces that were given to me by an Uncle who was getting out of the business. If I snap these am I able to get warranty on them or not ?

At the time Japan was emerging as an industrial power after World War 2,you could buy products stamped "made in Usa", with " japan" in much smaller print underneath. A lot of suckers fell for that trick, thinking it came from the USA.

                    :Google "Usa japan"
