Problem is that most of them have heard low ball offers before. To show you're serious, they need to see the colour of your money.

The suspension is a bit firm. I don't know why people put ridiculously stiff coilovers in them when the stock suspension is pretty stiff as it is. It's liveable for a daily though.

With stiffer suspension, worse fuel economy, insane insurance, high maintainance costs and you can't park it anywhere.

They're not that bad Kyle. As long as you can resist the urge to modify them. I drove a stock demo 9 at a track day I organised back to back with my old 9 which had coilovers, exhaust etc etc and realised how good a compromise the ADM 9 is as a road car with performance.

The interior is nothing to write home about though. Plastics are truely shit. I would think a liberty would have it all over an Evo in that regard.

And to help Q out. Have a look here: http://www.lancerregister.com/mlr_showmodel.php

But basically the 7 came in three versions: GSR, GTA and RS. GSR = normal road car. GTA = automatic with slightly detuned motor, no vent in bonnet. RS = homologation car with bog stock lancer interior, different gear ratios, mechanical rear diff (ie no AYC), smaller brakes, shit steel 16" rims, no aircon, no central locking. Ends up 80kg lighter than GSR, although you could then spec bits of GSR back into the RS if you wanted to.

The interior is really the only thing that lets the Evo down. It is really quite bland.

Chuck I believe child restraint mounts are a requirement for compliance.

Perhaps. But on the plus side its a shitload faster than most mid-size econo sedans.

Was there anything you were worried about in particular?
Like a Lancer/Imprezza with more whoosh and bouncing from full sik suspension.

There was only a limited number sold on the aussie market too. I *think* the aussie version had a few different goodies in it also.
