tell her ther's a castle there she'll love.

there is one there, but it's a bit average.

trier, the city about 100 ks away, is fucking tops. We had an ace three days there.
.... because every driver experiences the destructive potential of the effortless surge of power available through the smallest of body movements.

God, the more photos of cars that are put up, the more I just can imagine how much I'd love to have a look over there. Bloody awesome.

It does look brilliant...but i found it a bit monotonus to actually drive

Heres the Stelvios Pass from the bottom...it was snowing when we were there......oh and I smoked that Camper van he was no match for my awesomeness on the pass

The Faster more flowing roads thru the Swiss Alps into the Italian Alps were much better for driver enjoyment imho

I agree - we also drove the Furka Pass - between Italy and Switzerland. Magic place - will post some more pics tomorrow.

Aside from the mint roads, these are just some of the most scenic places I have even seen. The missus loves it and she is so keen we are returning next year. Its not a tough sell.

Will try and get something a little more 'dynamic' than a 320d for next time. Fantastic car but not the most sporting beast. Brilliant for chewing up the miles though - was actually staying in Munich when I went to the Nurburgring. Did about 1300kms in 1 day - only me driving and still felt up to dinner and a few steins when I got back.

Its pretty impressive when you can sit on cruise at a comfortable 180km/h, four up, and still return 5.4l/100km.
