        falcon is 200kg heavier than earlier mustang for essentially same drivetrain. Also ALL parts panels for stang can be had repro.

            Id be studying the rules for the category & trying to think of something that would give me an advantage over the rest of the field rather than asking a bunch of people on the internet, most of whom have never seen a set of regs of any sort let alone studied these ones in particular in detail...otherwise you will get suggestions of cars that are the same as those running now & without a significant advantage you wont get to be up the pointy end...you'll just make the point blunter.
