take it to the M4 near the lighthorse interchange and shoot near all those red things?
Glebe island bridge with long shot?
Find a kids party to use the kids and a clown as props?
I would suggest at the end of the runway at syd airport but security would arse rape you in the face.
I want somebody to do a shoot on a freeway, probably the start of the M4 with no other cars in the frame, late at night, shot taken by a car following behind, with a relatively long exposure for a moving shot to get a little bit of light trail action. Think getaway in stockholm but a still image. Tunnels are good for this.
What colour is it? If silver, then go to a wreckers with heaps of rusty shit in the background."And on we raced, hurling watchdogs against doorsteps, curling them under our burning tires like collars under a flat-iron. Death, domesticated, met me at every turn..."

What about down around The Rocks, with those old buildings & viaducts that're made with convict-cut sandstone (ie. all the handmade chisel- and pick-marks still visible in the stone)? It may be too much of a cliche, but you usually only see the likes of Jags & Rangies & other very 'British' marques photographed against backdrops like that.
A lot of the architectural bits that're considered either pretty or histortically-significant have some interesting mood lighting on them, so you may find some of the work's already done for you.Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

all good ideas, thanks fellas.
still unsure tho. did a recon around home over the weekend, found a big wide new road thats over 300m lonmg, dead traight and still blocked to traffic that has pristine new hotmix and line markings, and shiny armaco and black security fencing. also managed to get to the bottom of the rose hill racecourse horse overpass which is all 70's style angular concrete (like krytons head). still need to look around parramatta park too
was also thinking maybe blacktown drive-in
in the meantime, it looks like we may very well get the all clear to do a shoot at catalia park. this probably wont meet the timing for the hpi article, BUT... if theres a photographer whod be keen for a trip to katoomba, let me know and see what we can arrange? id imagine it'd need some pretty serious off-camera strobes to get enough light in there to make th most of the dark, atmospheric tunnels of trees and barriersMit freundlichen Grüße
