I cant remember what battery is in the Cressida but I had the exact same in the Statesman for a few weeks and it shit itself in that too. Same size and CCA and all. Never get that brand. I'll have a look tomorrow and post it.2002 VX SS GT55 boosted 427 LSX

One more thing to add, old track mustang sits around and gets neglected whilst im fiddling around with other toys. In 2 years i have never charged the thing and it is only cranked over a few times a year, started it for the first time in 6 months last weekend. Cranked over like it was yesterday.Profi

Even the Redtop ive got which is really only a starting battery still lasts longer than any other battery ive had, and its half the size and weight too

I thought the reds were better than the yellows. Guess not.

yeah have a talk
as far as i know, reds have more crank but yellows have more current for audio applications
but since i only have a normalish car with a donkey radio the cheaper yellow should do fineOriginally posted by boxxx

yellows are deep cycle too which apparantly means they can go flat/ be recharged more times before they sh1t themselvesRide : Turbo LPG Gemini - http://www.ozgemini.com/forums/non-t...hp?f=6&t=25363

been running an optima for a few years now, great battery, heaps of CCA for comparable sized batteries and lots of reserve.
i have killed one though, didnt use/charge it for about 6 months then wouldnt accept a charge after that.
brought mine from batteries world and didnt have any issues with warranty claim.
would defiantly buy again, though they are heavy pricks.
