Rookey used to live in Hong Kong but he actually bought the car off Keith Wong aka Bicycle Express, he was going to run in IP but realised he had too many Porkkas and Ferraris he already raced, so he sold it to Rookey.

The rims are stupid light, I wouldnt mind getting a set for my rolla.... he actually only has 11 now and one bent one, he fucked one at Winton.

PF trip to Honkers I rekon, we could have our own Civic cup

hey paul the funny thing is Rookey used to campaign a 944 Porsche and spent plenty on it to make it competitive, his little Honda nugget is lapping 2 secs quicker than his 944 ever did:knock:

Mr Macau will give you one for free if you buy 14k worth of 12 inch rims from what I gather.

Josh Cho from ProConcept brought in several of these Civics. Jacky Yick bought and drove one and cleaned up U2l in NSW. That car has now been sold to Bob Jowett who now has 3 of them (2 prepared by Josh). Interestingly Jacky stayed with a B-series motor in this car but Josh stuck K20s in a car for Bob and one for Louis Chan.

Bob's Escort was the car to beat prior to Jacky's Civic turning up and was still competitive but lacked the reliability of the Honda.

Cut and shut some suspension arms? Yeh mines fully adjustable so we were able to set it up with no toe or much camber changes though its operating range. All stock cradle pickup points of course, have heard that the S14 is better than the S13 as to pickup points location.

I'm pretty sure Jacky's car (Red) is now run by Greg Hartnett, and Louis Chan's (white) went to Jowett. Jowett also owns Peter Lynden's old EG Civic which was built up by Peter and raced a few times before real life got in the way of his racing. The Proconcept cars were also EK series cars, so not sure if they came from Macau, or the bloke in Macau has EG and EK available?

Yep, Josh's cars came from Hong Kong/Macau via the contacts he had when he was flying over there doing the asian touring car championship. Funny thing is that he had one for sale for ages with no takers and now everyone wants one.
