Hate to see how something built for your feminine side would last with a bunch of real men at it.
Your words are a revelation... retard.

I was not suggesting that all twin cab utes be trimmed in leather & nice things, I wasnt even suggesting that most of them should be...just that there is a market that is plenty big enough to justify one or 2 of them.

You would not work with it, in fact hardly anyone would use them for work. Mostly I suspect they would get used by families who might not want bikes/surfboards/dogs/wet stuff in the back of their leather lined wagons.

30 years ago many other retards said that nobody would buy luxo 4wd wagons because they wouldnt stand up to 'real' work. Well guess what, they still dont, but they sell lots more luxo ones than they do ones for 'real' work.

I'd glady swap the IRS from the arse end of my Pathfinder to leafs, $10 says I wouldn't notice any difference in ride quality yet I'd get a heap more suspension travel

I would also be curious to see some ute sales figures once mining and large fleet sales are removed.

What, for those 7 foot tall pedestrians who will land on the bonnet rather than get mowed down and go under the car?

BTW, agree that there definitely is a market for a luxury dual cab. Plenty of people use these as family vehicles with a bit of extra practicality rather than trudging around work sites with five sweaty labourers on board...

                    You're taking the piss right?

What about dump trucks? They should have double wishbones all round & inboard pushrod dampers. You know, because that would be awesome for carting shit around with.

And leafs are far better for towing than IRS or coils. They also have drum rear brakes too - crazy talk I know but common in these vehicles.

huge arse rear drums work quite fine I reckon. can easily lock the rears on the navara at speed with the handbrake if the ABS is disabled..

Plus I can still smell larrys farts if he is in the cruiser...

Ive even thought of buying a hilux/navara & pulling the interior out, sending the seats out to get retrimmed in cow, sending the dash & door panels out to get that soft stuff on them, adding some wood or brushed alloy bits, putting in a decent stereo & laying that dynamat shit all over the floors & inside the doors...but thats $15k or so on top of a new car, plus its a horrendous amount of rooting around.
They recently had Navaras up here with leather standard. Was a 'Titanium' model with the fruit. Although I don't think it had climate.

Have you thought about a Triton GLS? They have full leather, although Jap plasticy leather. They also have climate as well as a lot of other stuff. The new model has the longer tray and the better 2.5ltr motor. Not a bad bit of kit although I'd only assume you'd think they're fucking ugly.

I'm surprised its mac strut, wouldn't wishbones take more of a belting?
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe, and from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip-malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moments lost in time; gone like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die.

So they should be as the cheapest Prado STARTS over 50k (the new one over 55K). Tritons etc start around $20K
