yeah but thats not different i just want to have something to tinker with and improve and feel like i achived something when it hits the trackOriginally posted by Terribleone View PostYou could quite easily make 500rwhp+ with a set of pistons and rods and GT28RS with pump fuel with the VG30 .

Pics will definitely be required once project gets underway!
Have always had a soft spot for that shape, despite my occasional Datsun-bashing in the past...

keep the VG you cunt, like Terribleone said, get some hair driers from the SR20 boost loosing wanks, rebuild the bottom end and you'll get 500hp out of it for cheaper than an LS, he's done it before, ain't rocket science and once you throw all the shit out of it it will be lighter, there is at least 200kg of shit you can do without
yeah i got a soft spot for the 300ZX....Originally posted by BeverlyHillsCopI think u should marry her... slip the ring inside your ass and next time she goes in, she'll come out with a ring on her finger...

the v6 might make the power but it just dosent feel right.

I've been hearing for a long time that people dislike him, but I'm not quite sure why...?Originally posted by GTSBoy View PostFWIW, I think it was in Zoom, because I recall Donnon was up there taking photos of it and talking shit nearly every time I visited.I take photos of shiny things with wheels. www.rohanphillips.com

V8 is a sensible choice, so many options depending on whether you decide to go straight line or circuit with the car. There are faster/cheaper choices for a circuit car but meh, how boring it would be if everyone drove S chassis Nissans.Richard's DatsunZ lappin LakesidZ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47OSh...&feature=g-upl

Cant wait to see this thing finished/or started.
I reckon these things look spot on. They still have a nice shape 22 years on.
I didnt realise they made them up until 2000!1998 NB MX5

this has yet to be decided.Originally posted by XFJET View Postso it's going to be a drag car?
im not sure if i want to go fast in a straight line, around corners or get the thing engineered with an ls motor and cruise it on weekends and hit the 1/4 every now and again.
the registered/engineered route seems like it will be the cheaper option over time as i dont have to buy a trailer/towcar and pay for trackday costs and breakdowns/smashes.Originally posted by KarnageSounds like a candidate for involuntary euthanasia or perhaps surprise assisted suicide.
