Agreed, they would have no problems sticking a 'hoon' for one or both of these if they made such an admission.Originally posted by morerevsm3 View Posthe has admitted in writting that he was driving without due care, shouldn't he be charged with that as well? and if you follow his propagander, he was also driving in a manner dangerous to the public
Anyone keen to contact ethical standards or make an official complaint to police?Originally posted by 350stato100% agree with Shifty

So he's 25% of the way to losing his license, because he missed a speed sign and accidentally drove through a country town at ~70km/hr instead of 60km/hr without the slightest hint of any incident occurring. Infact the drive was so unremarkable he completely forgot about it until he recieved a letter 3 months later.
Thats fair and reasonable.

It's not fair and reasonable for him. He should be resigning.Originally posted by oioioioioi View PostSo he's 25% of the way to losing his license, because he missed a speed sign and accidentally drove through a country town at ~70km/hr instead of 60km/hr without the slightest hint of any incident occurring. Instead he is not, what a hypocrite. Spends his life telling people speed kills and to wipe off five, he must have killed someone doing 10km/h over.
The media should be absolutely slaughtering him in their editorials. I doubt they will though.

Yeah I don't agree either. I think he should get an arbitrary (~$80) fine and 1 point deduction. Just like everyone else SHOULD.
I think the punishment for this sort of offence shouldn't really be monetary/lose your license type stuff. The best way to make people comply is to make it a pain in the arse, rather than cost them money. I hate having my time wasted more than anything. Maybe make them pay the fine in person at the RTA.
