Get a brush and remove all the webs that you can see. Then use lots of spray in the spots where the webs were.
Then sweep a day later again and spray and it should be fine...

Perhaps cover in a sheet and let off a bug bomb in the tent?

      This.

If they're coming back I'd say they've either found a nice safe place in a chassis rail or between some panels or something that you haven't been able to get to yet, or alternatively wherever you park the car has a nest nearby. I'd suspect the first one if they're reappearing almost instantly in decent numbers.

$2 supershit degreaser makes short work of wasps, should work on spiders what do i care, with the added bonus of cleaning the car, also shoots nice and far.

Where is your car? Redbacks live above where they hunt (like max 6 inches down) so if you keep the car elevated they wont be a drama as they're too fucking small/lazy to make big webs. Webs look really messy/old with long strands vertically down from their hiddy hole which has to be dry, they're sooks too cant handle a bit of water.

White-tails are ok, their venom is pissweak, there are no necrotic spiders in aus that cause more than a bit of a sore bite and burn. If you're a lepper it might cause a problem. Plus they're hunters/nomads, they dont nest up.

Huntsman will hide in wait in car parts and shit, but same as white-tailed's, generally keep moving. There are just THAT many around we see them all the time.

Black house spiders they're an issue for making webs but they're so timid they wont move if you're working on the car.

I sound like I know what I'm saying but I'm just summirising this site.

Basically you're not gonna stop huntsmen, elevate the car to stop redbacks, the rest are too timid to attack even when prevoked or wont use the car as shelter becuase its not natural or too exposed which means no food.

If you really wanna be sure, elevate the car, take off the wheels clean the roof above the car and spray around there (thats how they get onto the car). Make sure the area under the car and jacks is clean. They wont go near the lower part of a car because of the oil/chemicals. If you stop their food going in their they wont bother and if they do they move on, they're not retarded like humans.

Whitetails are an issue mainly for kids, the elderly and the immune suppressed. I have a scar on my wrist from one which bit me when i was six, and caused issues until i was 12 when i broke my wrist and the cast was over the top. Because it festered and i couldnt treat it, it basically burnt itself out.

If I raise the car to stop spiders can I then also use it for towing?

Crashing the car is a pretty drastic way to kill a spider.

Unless you are allergic to them, they are no worse than a wasp or bee sting.
They give you a hell of a headache for a day or more though and you want to puke as well. Me many years back and my Daughter last year - she is allergic to bee stings so they also kept her in overnight just in case.

Then there was another girl I heard about being bitten on the funnel by a finger web spider.

A guy at school burnt down his house trying to kill a spider with a lighter and deoderant.... EPIC fail.

She should have kept that finger out of her funnel.
