Don't change PMs or forsale. We need to be careful that we don't turn this into a private club - getting new members is what keeps internet forums alive and kicking.

this and as mentioned above, if there is extra cash, lets use for get togethers (cruise, pub crawl etc). as paying members i think we should have access to statements and costs required. Does the forum also become a profitable business from here? or a non profit organisation? i know this is getting technical but some people may want to know. I have no issues with donating $20, but what if 300 members dont $20, thats $6000. what happens to the extra cash? i think as a group, we should think about this carefuly, i think simon should make the last decision on what is done, and everything be open to paying members.

I also believe there should be a slight recognition for the paying members, but nothing like were you split every one into 2 forums.

Maybe the plan should be for a donation drive with no more than $10 each to start with. If we did get 500 members to cash up then there'd be heaps in the kitty for a year or so. If we didn't get enough, we just go around again and the cunts who ponied up do so again with $5 or $10 until we make it and then we lay off for a year or so.

I have no problem with giving over $20 or so, but I would hate to be giving over $20 along with 500 others and having all that cash sitting in a PF styleez bank account for 3 years earning bugger all interest when it could offsetting us cunts' homeloans.
