diesel 4 cylinder is not without its problems - injectors leak and it sounds like a bus. E350 or E500 is a better bet.

Both the V6 & the V8 sound really good. Both have a lot more power too. That said, 28000kms is fark all for a 6-7 year old car.Originally posted by exwrxex View Postdiesel 4 cylinder is not without its problems - injectors leak and it sounds like a bus. So much 80's Opulence:

I'm thinking I might just take photos of that interior to my upholsterer and get the Valiant done in the same style but with brown seats. 16 inch BBS split rims from Barrel Brothers and it's practically an Aston Martin!

That would be kinda cool. Would work better if you were doing a Charger thoughOriginally posted by Mr Purple View PostI'm thinking I might just take photos of that interior to my upholsterer and get the Valiant done in the same style but with brown seats. 16 inch BBS split rims from Barrel Brothers and it's practically an Aston Martin!
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

Pretty close to what you're after. And not drug money. 15x9 rear, 15x8 front with nice baggy sidewalls.Originally posted by Mr Purple View PostSo much 80's Opulence:

Big deep dish superlites/mini lites on a Val Charger would also look great.
Instant boner with the AM, although I prefer the earlier versions with the original dash and steering wheel.
I cannot find it in one of my magazines, but I remember a guy building a 68 Dodge Charger with lots of little features like Webers or ITBs, period looking wheels etc. I think it was Pure Vision that built it (can't find it on their website), but they created a whole backstory about a guy buying one when new, then shipping it to Italy and copying Ferrari/Aston touches etc.Originally posted by Stix Zi'm upset i lost that video of that aboriginal woman taking a dump on a train that was on youtubeOriginally posted by JimSorry, am late to this thread. I've got a set of original performance challengers in 15x7 and 15x8 for the charger, will probably go to 8inch fronts as well. Also looking at a set of formula black in 15x8 all round.
Thought about the Hotwires, but they seemed to be more a wheel seen in torries and falcons in the day rather than the Val's.

And the CM GLX:

But enough about crappy 70's wheels!
Anyone know what this D-type went for at Motorclassica last year?

Has killed two of its previous drivers. Not sure if that makes it better or worse!
