Just never liked them. Decent, but always seem to sound shit, ok power. I have a pulsar SSS and it goes well in that, just not an inspiring motor for something mid engine like the above is what I mean.
On the flip side a mates sr20ve was a cracker, almost Honda like.

We had a late model N14 Japanese spec SSS. The one with 4 fog lamps. I thought the motor was awesome. But yeah 190hp/650kgs ain't going to suck.

+1 I had a SSS and loved it, 8200rpm and got along pretty farking well (at the time, sure more powerful stuff has come out since). That said, I did add a turbo, then under-steered it in to a gutter, then took the turbo off and sold it.
