The guy I work for is like this. Will happily drop $400K on a car drive it for 12 months, get bored and trade it in for $300K. He gives no fucks for the $100K loss when he makes millions a year.

^^^ This. Its just a case of scale/perspective. Add another zero on your income and I guess you would be OK adding another zero on depreciation.

Meh horses for courses. I don't like depreciation no matter how many zeros there are at the end of my income.

Hearing you. I could never do it (and will never have to worry about it on my income) and typically buy second hand cars after someone else has taken the big hit, but I guess if you were on seven figures, dropping 100k in a year or so wouldn't bother you as much as someone on 3-400k. But again. I could always find better things to drop 100k on rather than make it vanish into thin air.

I'm with you. No matter what my bank balance looked like, I still couldn't bring myself to do it.

Happy for him to keep turning them over though. Probably the only way I'll ever find myself behind the wheel of some supercars

Mostly just the browny/beigeness of it and the overall look that would probably irk a Porker snob like you. :p No idea if it's an original type look or not (like I said I'm not a fanboy and don't know them inside out) but just looks simple and clean and in a colour from that era.

It appears to be a stock as a rock 72/73 2.4L targa with an S front spoiler. Hence me asking. I like it too, but we are in the minority liking the targa.

Yeh I don't like it for any Porsche type reasons of model, engine or whatever. I just like what my eyes like and it has an old school classic cool look about it! I could see me in that casually cruising the European coast with a hot bird in the passenger seat. :p (not KFC) :p

My favourite Aus GT car for ages, the Roger Lago Lamborghini Reiter Rex is up for sale. Looks tough as and engine noise is porn for the ears. Love the car. Got several big posters of it up on the office wall at work.

Fuck a house, if I had a 150k right now I’d go with my heart and buy this.
