I love the way they look, but I reckon they need a RWD LS1 conversion.

LS1 with a couple of snails would be good. But that removes the coolest bits of the things.

I prefer the older look to the new, the white one has a proper Jap supercar look about it. The black one looks too "American" like an oversized Eclipse or whatever the fuck they are.

The earlier ones also have all the cool tech that was removed as they went along. About the only good thing about the facelift models is the last of them had the "stronger" 6 speed box compared to the older 5 speed. The later models also look too much like the Dodge Stealth. Fun fact, the Dodge Stealth was supposed to be the pace car for the Indy 500 in 1991, except the unions cracked the shits bigtime so Dodge had to rush the Viper concept into use.

Weren't 3000GTs shit? I seem to remember them being heavy, understeery barges.

Iirc the coupe is similar weight to the Supra, as for understeery, probably not much worse than a GTR.
Which surprisingly is slower.
