    very very.

Reckon it is a pretty safe $35k car in terms of being able to move it on again too.

Bloke I work with has one along with a collection of Jags. He says his is ok, but I suspect that's the Stockholm Syndrome talking.

Making inquiries at the moment about a 2006 Dodge Durango (AWD with 5.7 MDS Hemi) that has a bad transmission. It's drivable but shifts really shitty ... but it does come with a ready to install replacement transmission. Owner wants CAD$1000 obo.

I could fit the replacement transmission and put it back on the market as is with a price of around CAD$3k (book value is around $5k-$6k). It's at the other end of Nova Scotia, so it would cost about $200 in gas to drive up with nopics in her Impala, and drive the Durango home.

Do they run the NAG1 transmission?

5/6 speed 545RFE ... 5 speed with two different ratios for second ... one 2nd gear ratio used for upshifting and the other 2nd ratio used for downshifting.

Basically the Chrysler/Jeep 4 speed 45RFE with an extra overdrive ratio fitted in the box.

Long distance gearboxing. There's some potential in that if you can figure out how to make the receiver pay and not leave any incriminating evidence as to where it was sent from.

Fortunately the Durango comes with a replacement 545RFE, so a NAG1 isn't useful.
