I know a bloke in Sydney with a GT4 who had an Oak Green GT3 Touring on order but backed out because he loves the GT4 so much.

that 991 is utterly stunning. In saying that the PDK 991GT3's are still pretty great and ~20km versions are down in the very very low 200s now. Would be a tough choice between that and a GT4 at ~180k nowdays.

Ok, so I'm toying with the idea of a two door Mk5 Golf R32 in 6-speed manual (i.e. not a DSG). Any thoughts on these cars?

Quick search on buyers guides suggestions these things are pretty mechanically sound. What are PF thoughts? I'll be looking at cars that are over 100,000km+. It appears the only thing to look out for is the Haldex service every 40,000km.

Idea is a comfortable and cheap daily to squirt around in. Maybe the odd mountain sprint.

My old man has had once since new, now has 160,000-odd. It's been really good aside from DSG issues and from memory an AFM went on it.

He is selling it as he also has a Mk7 R, but it's been pretty solid. Fuck it makes a good noise.

Nice. Are all seats heated in these?

Not my first car is it? Mine was a HG coupe non GTS but with all the GTS bits fitted. After I sold it the new owner painted it orange and put a big block into it. Original Vic plates were still on it and the car was still regoed until a couple of years ago.

Haha, only good looking liberty sedan since the first one
Price might be a little high, I'm remembering when they were $54k new in this spec.

I know matching your description but I last saw it for sale in Victoria in 2010 for 60k or 66k?
