And it's sold. We had a V70 XC (1998 model) and it was a great car, you just need to know where to buy parts (eg not Aus). The XC had the turbo 5 pot and AWD and could scoot along surprisingly well for a large box. I would have kept it and swapped something faster in if it wasn't such a shit thing for those sort of shenanigans given they are tranverse mounted etc.

In japland they have a couple of AWD JZ's running around. Gita and some Crown. I know if two blokes here in Aus that have converted IS300's to AWD which is pretty cool

There was a guy on the US Supraforums who was converting a Supra to AWD with GTR bits if I recall correctly.

Thats because people who want an Aristo want them because there a 2J. Anyone with taste that wants a cruiser with a 1UZ gets the way better looking LS400.
