There are some nice cars in that lloyds auction.

I have no interest in fiat's at all and the interior is pretty naff with the painted red stuff, but something about this 124 coupe is speaking to me.

The blue VL sports sedan looks like a lot of fun too.

Owe more than they thought to the mechanic/workshop and sell off. Pretty common story of people running out of money/life changing mid build.
              If in doubt power out

Maybe I am getting old and cynical but I always figured it was people who got sick of constantly spending money on it and the most recent blow up was the straw that broke the camels back so they rebuild as cheap as possible and flog it off before it breaks again and make it some other cunts problem. That said, fuck it's sexy but looking at the mods, shifter etc I dare say it's been hammered mercilessly doing drags/skids etc. You don't bother with mods like that unless you;re going to drive the wheels off it generally.....but I still want it.

That 124 is neat but you have to wonder what is waiting for you under the paint.

Speaking of wondering what’s under the paint….given the current market this seems like a good deal if it’s not made of paper mache!

I kind of wish I had kept my 124, absolutely rust free bare shell with all panel gaps done and body ready for paint. Sold it for $2.5k with a couple of cars worth of bits. But now have a mint very tidy 131 to keep, not as desirable though.

Always had a soft spot for the 124 since a teen. But always knew it would have more.

Came here to mention the Gary Walker twin-turbo XJ-S that seemed to be floating around for ages in the 80's & 90's ... I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned (but then I did only look back to the start of this month).

It's probably a disaster, because it's a Jaaaaag, but it was always kinda cool!

Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.
