+ 11ty on 250SWB, love the early ones with no quarter window.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

That model AM would have to be one of the coolest muscle cars on the planet. Didn't they come in some special edition 7ltr version?

          Would bang over anything American.

GTEs are nice, but SWB is sooo hot.
            Love AMV8s too.

Trouble is when something goes wrong with an AM it'll bankrupt you, when something goes wrong with an american muscle car it costs fuck all to fix.
              If in doubt power out

While this is true, how much cooler is a british old school muscle car. Especially given its probably better appointed inside compared to a yank muscle car.

Richard Stewart Williams offers a 7 Litre option (they were the guys that rebuilt the engine in 'For the love of Cars' when they did the AM DBS) http://www.rswilliams.co.uk/conversions/7-litre-v8/

Yeah, been for sale for ages. I'd have it if I had 130k burning a hole in my pocket.
And yes, old skool wide valve angle heads are huge.

Just working on the web site for the local rag that employs me and I spotted that one of the local car dealers that advertises in the paper has a 1966 Dodge Coronet 2 door hardtop with a 440 advertised for CAD$14,495 (+tax).

I go past the Dutton showroom in Richmond every day and their displays are so fucking hot. They currently have 2.7RS looking thing, alongside a 964T and what looks like a 993 C4
