How do you register a 1996 car with a 1992 engine (it says it has R32 gtr running gear)? I thought you couldn't go backwards?

You can go any which way you want if you can prove it complies with emission standards and doesnt alter crash safety etc

Iirc as long as there wasn't an emmision update to the adr's between the motor and build date. Any who, that car has probably never been anywhere near a registry
