All of the Modular powered Mustangs I have seen (from the US) have had the towers cut, usually upgraded to an aftermarket Mustang II IFS at the same time.

Its got fully built 3.8 V6 thats been stroked, full mains girdle, h beams, roller cam and rockers, GN1 alloy heads, Champion aftermarket inlet with T62-1 turbonetics huffer and front mount cooler.

I really wouldn't call MII based suspension an "upgrade".
