Taking a bit of a spin through Carsales.com.au and saw this Renault Spider listed for sale at Classic Throttle Shop. Too bad CTS inflate the prices.
These are very rare over here. The UK-spec with windscreen and soft top make it almost practical.

I know a couple of people who have owned or driven these in the past. I also remember one coming to a Wakefield trackday about 5 years ago. Slower than a standard Elise on the track but a nice looking car.If you dig a hole and it is in the wrong place, digging it deeper isn't going to help.

I've seen it at Morgan Park - 5th outright at the 2010 Aus Supersprint Championship with a 1:24.3 on the new long track - that's with witches hats stopping people getting to within 2m of the apex on one of the new corners where the track was breaking up or something...
Pretty safe to say his Lakeside time of 58-odd could improve by a couple of seconds with some more familiarity with the circuit.Comment
