Yes but say it went for NZ $100K that is only $72k which is nearly $60k cheaper for the same car but only 3 years older.

It was legit, I know of the guy from another forum. And it's a 300GD (3 ltr diesel)

From what I understand it needs a fair bit of work though.

Looks good in the photos but the black respray was a 'closed door' respray so original colour in the door jams etc. I think running gear needs a lot of attention as well.

Yeah, the ad mentioned that it had 'some' rust, but that the transmission, brakes and cooling system had just been rebuilt

overall it didn't sound too bad... certainly a bit different anyway

You'd definitely want a manual one the early SMG boxes were crap and now cost big $$$ to repair. Trouble is finding one that has been raped by a swede these days.
