1- I wanted to use stock as id already bought them.
2 - They look far better than the others that were supplied.
3- Havent tried it but im sure unflanged/washered nuts would put extra pressure on the HPC coating. And since its a very brittle ceramic coating id imagine it would crack far easier with other nuts.

I can't believe there has been 4 pages posted since yesterday about aguing over manifold studs

First of all, I'd really like it if everyone left TK out of it. There was never a problem between him and assail until this shit started with Warin on SF, and I've always found him very professional and great to deal with, and its highly unfair for him to be dragged thru the mud over a customers problem with me.

I think its laughable that there has been such a hulabaloo about manifold studs, I mean, realistically, if you want it to "look" like they are factory studs, you can't see the 5 under the manifold anyway, especially once everything is in there. If its the principal of the matter, I seriously have more common sense than to argue. The whole matter is beyond a joke, we are talking aftermarket studs in an engine bay filled with aftermarket parts. I can honestly say in 10 years in the industry, the only time I've noticed a single cars exhaust studs were how trick the pro rwd cars look with ARP studs on theirs. If I'm going to get bagged out, and not recommended to people because of some exhaust studs, then I only hope you believe in karma.

Obviously most people feel the same, but its within Assails right to have expected one thing and got another, no matter how we all feel about it. Making a bigger and bigger issue over it is only serving to add fuel to the fire and probably make him even more annoyed about it, so for everyone involved, myself, TK, and Assail, lets drop the issue
