Meh. A Single turbo'd Supra is a Single turbo'd Supra."Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

I bought one of those ebay manifolds linked in this thread for my 2J a while ago, it required a shitload of cleaning up to get to a useable state.
There were massive weld dags deep down inside the runners, had to get right in there with a screwdriver to knock them loose (pieces about 5mm in diameter).
The flange put the GT35 cover pointing straight into the water neck off the head. I milled out a new T3 flange, cut off the original and welded the new one on at a better angle and then ported the flange to suit the "collector".
The hole for the wastegate port to the collector was much smaller than the actual wastegate tube welded to the side of the manifold. I die-ground that out so it matched.
Six of the head flange holes had to be milled in a certain direction so it would actually go over the studs and bolt to the head.
You need to cut one of the studs down a lot shorter than usual and use a shortened nut too, I bashed the runner a bit for that one to give a bit more spanner clearance.
The 4-bolt wastegate flange was horrid, the PCD of the bolt holes was all wrong compared to the shape of the flange, I cut that off as I had a 44mm Tial for it anyway.
I didn't really like the manifold in the end so I got Kyle to make me a new one with the flange in the positions I'd setup.
couple of pics of the ebay one with the flange modded:

And my new 6boost manifold, even with stock studs! :p

Dyno and Tow "in case"
Not keen on a 2nd hand turbo, but i guess its a trade off with a 2nd hand Genuine or a Brand new knock off, but everyone says Proboost is decent. Otherwise we are pretty much on the same page.
Is there any reason that i shouldn't look at a T04Z?
Got a filter and a intake pipe that should be ok, 1k was including pipework and silicone. Forgot about dump...add another 300 or so for that i guess. waterlines and oil return were included above.Originally posted by tim510 View Postdump pipe? intake pipe + filter? intercooler pipework and silicon? water lines? oil return?

I've got a single turbo setup on a 1J.. Not quite a 2J, but the idea and process is roughly the same.. Puts out 380rwhp @ 22psi.. I think it's still on a rather conservative tune too, feels like there's tons more power potential there..
Setup is:
HKS TO4Z special full turbine kit
Garrett Frount mount cooler kit
sard 530cc injectors with sard fuel pump
haltech e11 v2
