I used a T3 open collector ebay manifold on a mate/customers car and it took ou the GT35's turbine from the grape sized blobs of stainless hanging inside the manifold out of sight. If you use one of these you should inspect it with a bore scope first. It's only the open collector manifolds that seem to suffer from this, the twin entry manifolds are much less crowded around the collector and you can see the offending areas.
We replaced the GT35 with a 6boost and 1.00 TO4Z and the car ran an 11.3 @ 118mph last night. Makes 440hp atw through a high stalled auto.
Jew Sex, I might be able to hook you up with a .82 housing for the proboost GT35. I also have a Tial .82 V band housing but that isn't going to suit any manifolds.
If you wanted to be a real tightarse you could make a Y adaptor off the std manifold. It's still make 400hp no worries.
One of the cars we built made 360hp atw at 13psi with a 1.06 GT35. This was before it had any FCD at all. Went on to make 450 with 550's and SAFC.
Conversely, I have another customer with a Supra that we fitted a home made shit manifold too with a Precision T66 turbo with a very small exhaust housing on it. No matter what I tried I could not get more than 350hp atw out of it. 2JZ's do not like or need tight exhaust housings. It is not a POS Nissan engine.David Fraser - Automotive Historian!
