On the welfare thing - giving people welfare, by and large (And I don't mean war service, old age or disability pensions, I'm not a fucking idiot), has been proven mostly to condition people to live on welfare. If the courts treated their crimes seriously, they might have to get a job. I've been unemployed at times in my life, and didn't go on the dole on principle, and ended up having to pay full price when rego and other shit came around at the same approximate time, even though i could have been handed some money and given roughly half price for rego or whatever with a health care card. (using rego as a an example, not a specific) . I did it _fucken_ hard, I don't have a bunch of nice clothes to wear, I didn't go out partying. I did it fucken hard. So frankly it's an affront to me personally and my values to suggest we should pay more money to people who don't have any real intention of contributing to society. I don't actually mind if they don't contribute, but that would surely have to be at the cost of not _taking_ from it either.

Thank fuck jmac is back and dispensing wisdom! As always totally agree with everything said. one thing about jail time, if you cant execute them you can at least put the deadshit cunts to work. Nothing wrong with chain gangs working off their debt to society...and i'd cut off all welfare payments for able-bodied people as well. Welfare payments create the welfare generation. Cut it off the fuckwits will be forced to contribute to society like everyone else.

Lastly, when this happened i was happy that dumb cunt wrote himself off, but wasnt happy at all that a family had to be taken with him. Now knowing that they were cut from the same cloth it seems fitting that the head dropkick took a couple of others with him.
