litre cars will be replaced by lightning sprints over the next couple of years, now that they have reached a national agreement. They run v6 magna / pajero engines, with minimal mods, so they cost fuckall, and seem to get around really quickly. I have seen them at archerfield and was quite impressed.

So did anyone end up building a car ?
I know there is a 1600cc class thats highly competitive and not too expensive . I reckon a nice mk3 Golf with a 1600 wet sleeve engine out of the golf 4 would do well !
Next demolition derby is March 19 at Parra speedwayI wanna do 8s bruv! Without no stinkin' POWERCHIP
Id rather have a rock in my shoe when hikin' than have a POWERCHIP in my car when racin'

Always been interested in the difference in dirt chassis (Benson seem to be popular)Originally posted by morerevsm3 View Post1 of my chassis is a 12 year old arrow, the other is a purpose built dirt chassis, but although they handle completely different, they are equally as competitive
So what's different say between an Arrow (AX-6/8) and Dirt specific chassis???

Weve been building motors for the NOS (National Open Sportsman) sprintcars. Basically stock standard commodore V6 engines in a wingless sprintcar. Seems to be the cheapest way to go if you don't want to go sedan. Think I am going testing at the "Sugar Bowl" on the weekend.www.DRIVENFX.com Performance Engine Building, Auto Electrical (Wiring Looms, ECU Installs, Diganoses and Repair), Custom Automotive Electronics, Car Preparation, Car Setup, Trackside Services,
